The business has been owned for the past 36 years by Louis Carlascio Jr., who serves as president of the corporation. 

CARLASCIO ORTHOPEDICS is NJ. State Licensed and certified by ABC (American Board for Certification in Orthotics and Prosthetics), BOC (The Board for Orthotist & Prosthetist Certification), and BCP, (The Board for Certification in Pedorthics).  It is a founding member of OPMC, (Orthotic and Prosthetic Managed Care), an organization of family owned Prosthetic and Orthotic facilities.

The staff at CARLASCIO ORTHOPEDICS consists of ABC, BOC and BCP certified prosthetists, orthotists and pedorthists. The highly qualified staff is available to service patients with amputations, congenital deformities, and brace needs (by appointment). The staff is able to attach and fit braces into custom and stock shoes.  Our custom prescription work is made on the premise to our high standards of quality and workmanship. Home visits are available for disabled patients, nursing homes, and first time mastectomy fittings.

CARLASCIO ORTHOPEDICS is located in Hudson county and for the past 75 years has been serving institutions and individuals of Hudson, Bergen, Passaic, Essex, Ocean, and Monmouth counties. It is not an unusual occurrence at CARLASCIO ORTHOPEDICS for a patient to fly into area airports then on to CARLASCIO ORTHOPEDICS for an evaluation, casting, fitting or delivery of an item and fly back home the same day.
